Memority's Strategic Acquisition of Zygon
In a significant move to bolster its Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities, French software publisher Memority has announced the acquisition of Zygon, a U.S.-based company specializing in the detection of unmanaged SaaS applications and the analysis of digital identity usage. This acquisition marks Memority's first major investment since its €13 million fundraising in 2025.
Enhancing Identity Factory
Memority's platform, Identity Factory, will integrate Zygon's technologies to identify applications and access points that traditional IAM systems might overlook. This integration is expected to enhance the platform's ability to manage digital identities more effectively.
Leveraging Artificial Intelligence
Memority plans to combine Zygon's data with its own AI developments to improve several key areas:
- Visibility of Digital Identities: Enhanced understanding of digital identity usage.
- Risk Prioritization: Better assessment and management of threats related to digital identities.
- Alert Contextualization: Improved context for alerts to facilitate quicker and more accurate responses.
- Automation of Controls: Streamlining security processes to reduce manual intervention.
Strategic Goals
Gilles Castéran, CEO of Memority, has articulated a clear ambition: "Our goal is to build a European IAM leader capable of offering a robust and industrial alternative to major international platforms." This acquisition is a step towards positioning Memority as a key player in the European IAM market.
